LaserPecker LP4

What the LaserPecker LP4 can make

The LaserPecker LP4 is an infrared laser engraver: its 1064 nm beam marks metals and plastics that blue diode lasers cannot, for jewellery, tools, tags and electronics.

It has a work area of 160 × 300 mm (6.3 × 11.8 in) and a top engraving speed of 4,000 mm/s.

It works with support for a rotary attachment to engrave tumblers and other round objects and LightBurn software.

LaserPecker LP4 safety and compliance

The LaserPecker LP4 has a fully enclosed design.

Every laser engraver makes smoke and fumes: run it with an exhaust to the outdoors or a fume purifier. Never cut PVC or vinyl, which release corrosive chlorine gas.

The brand states FDA compliance: laser products sold in the United States must meet the FDA's laser performance standard (21 CFR 1040.10) and be reported to the FDA, which issues an accession number.

Other compliance the brand states: CE (the manufacturer's declaration of conformity with EU product rules); FCC (US authorisation for the electronics' radio-frequency emissions); RoHS (restriction of hazardous substances in electronics (EU)); UKCA (the manufacturer's declaration of conformity with UK product rules).
